Serenity contacted our ministry August 2, 2000.Her ex husband was getting out of jail in September.
He had beat her until she was totally deaf.
Because she had suffered so much abuse at his hands,
she was very frightened he would find her.
I can remember she wasn't sleeping nights.
In fact when September came she didn't want to leave
the house for fear he would sneak up behind her and
she wouldn't know it.
September 22, 2000 God Blessed her with a German Shepard Hearing Dog. "Toro"
He was a real blessing to her,
because he made her feel safe,
with his intelligence, his training,
and his loyalty.
Praise the Lord that he always knows just what we need.
At this time Serenity was saying
"But I believe that God will restore my hearing.!!"
She put her trust in him and stood on her belief for a hearing miracle.
In October Serenity requested us to not only pray for her hearing, but that she could adopt a child. She was unable to have children,
and longed for a child. I prayed, but quite honestly I thought it
would be very hard for her to adopt a child, because of her deafness.
January 31, 2001 Serenity wrote that
she had a chance to adopt a baby
from a Christian Womens Home. Would we
please pray that this would go through, and we did. February 15,2001 Serenity's Wonderful Miracle.
She wrote her doctors felt there was a slight
possibility that they could operate on her right ear
and she would hear, but they told her they really didn't
think it would work. Serenity wanted the surgery,
because her hope and trust was in the Lord
that she would hear.
She wrote on this day I can hear sounds!!!
PRAISE THE LORD FOR THIS MIRACLE.
She is getting the strongest hearing aid,
so the sounds will make everything clear,
and this will give her hearing in her right ear.
Serenity's Second Miracle and answer to prayer.
March 8, she brought her beautiful adopted daughter home.
"Serenity Kathryn" WE PRAISE THE LORD FOR THIS WONDERFUL ANSWER TO PRAYER.
Serenity's Message to All of You: NEVER GIVE UP, TRUST THE LORD!!!!!
I never have seen any changes in my life until I gave it to God.
It is my hope and prayer that all of you who read this page
realize God does answer Prayer, and he is in the Miracle Business.
